Meet the Team
Accumulus is a Financial Planning Practice run by Simon Thompson and Tomas O Driscoll, each having over 20 years’ experience within the financial services industry (as Financial Life Planners). Many of our clients have been with us since before the establishment of Accumulus which we believe is down to building long term trusting relationships and a commitment to providing an excellent ongoing service.
We are both passionate cyclists and ‘the birth’ of Accumulus came to us further to completing one of our most challenging and iconic climbs to the summit of the famous Mont Ventoux in the French Alps – as depicted below. Thanks to our Cycling Coach who put a training plan together for us, we achieved one of our biggest cycling goals. This journey symbolised to us the challenge we all face when it comes to Personal Finance and how having a Finance Coach can make the difference in reaching our own Life Goals.

Life and Money Ireland
Why Life and Money Ireland?
Our new www.lifeandmoneyireland.ie website has landed!
Our focus with Accumulus is to help people achieve all they want to in life. When Tomas and I founded Accumulus, it was to take all the knowledge and experience we had accumulated, along with a large dose of many reality checks about money that we came across both personally and with clients we had worked with.
Accumulus is a regulated entity and that by definition means it has restrictions applied to it, what if there were no restrictions, what would a financial business look like? Well to start with it would not be primarily about finance.
For us it would be about Life.
What we do with our lives, how we spend our time, what motivates us, what is our why? Here’s our Top 5:
Using the key words lifestyle, freedom, independence, safety, security, home, and family, we set out to bring you interesting insights into these many and varied areas with Life and Money Ireland.
